NUTRITION

There are lots of ways to think about nutrition and healthy eating and this may mean different things to people. If you are a vegan or a vegetarian there are recipes you can use in the booklet or you can make up your own.

On this 4 week Lift Lean programme we are focusing mainly on eating a healthy, balanced and varied diet, getting your nutrients from all the food groups, not compromising on your Non Negotiables and including more strength and resistance workouts in your weekly routine to boost your metabolism and mental health. 

​

If weight loss is your goal you will need to be more mindful of eating in a calorie deficit. To do this you could use an app like My Fitness Pal to track your calories and record your exercise. The more movement you can do every day the better. 

​

NON NEGOTIABLES

​

  • Drink at least 2 Litres of water a day

  • Eat 3 Healthy Meals a day

  • No Snacking or choose healthier snacks

  • Move as much as you can every day

  • Include Strength and Resistance training at least 3 times a week

  • Get 7 - 8 hours of quality sleep a night
